Welcome to Led Primary! This is a Vinyasa-Flow style class that will move quickly and efficiently, with poses from the Ashtanga Primary Series (and perhaps from second series depending on the day/students). As this class will move rather rapidly, it’s best for people with a decent amount of yoga experience. You do not have to be an expert or super flexible, but having some prior experience is advised.
Modifications or “options” will be suggested and, typical for Ashtanga, we will hold poses for five breaths. As always, you may adjust the practice to your body and substitute poses when required.
This practice is best done on an empty stomach (no eating 2 hours prior, no drinking ½ hour before), in a warm spot and without music. Tune in to your internal experience.
Best for moderate – experienced practitioners.
