Welcome to a mash-up of the First Series of Ashtanga (also known as Primary) and some of Second Series! This yoga class will move through the standing poses from the First Series and then incorporate and workshop poses from second series. Second series poses can range from back-openers, to hip-openers to arm balances. While some of these poses fall into the “advanced” category, modifications will be available and are encouraged. As is traditional, poses are held for five breaths. You are welcome to leave out vinyasas between poses and/or do a cat-cow pose instead.

Open for advanced beginners and experienced practitioners.
I recommend practicing on an empty stomach: no eating 2 hours prior, no fluids 30mins before.
