During this workshop, we’ll review:
| 1) How to gain and maintain flexibility |
| 2) Developing strength, slowly and over time |
| 3) Handling injury, both preventing injury and dealing with current injuries |
| 4) Breathing practices designed to calm and center yourself |
| 5) Creating a unique, personalized sequence that you can practice at home, for 2 – 30 minutes on your own |
Complete beginners are welcome, people as stiff as trees are welcome, people without any upper body strength are welcome, and in fact, loved.
The only way to get better is to begin.

| 10 – 10:20am | Seated practice to learn the Ashtanga invocation |
| 10:20 – 11am | The mechanics and intelligence of Surya Namaskar A, the sun salutations |
| 11 – 11:30 | Vinyasa Variations; choosing from cat/cow, rolling vinyasa, traditional vinyasas |
| 11:30 – 11:45 | Break |
| 11:45 – 12:30 | Learning Surya Namaskar B, the heat-generating sun salutations |
| 12:30 – 1pm | Closing practice and review |
